Outline - ActiveFactory™ Software Course

The ActiveFactory™ Software course is a 2-day, instructor-led class that is designed to provide you with a fundamental understanding of the Wonderware ActiveFactory™ suite of Historian client tools. The Wonderware ActiveFactory™ trending, analysis, and reporting software offers a suite of data analysis and reporting clients that maximize the value of data stored in Wonderware Historian. ActiveFactory™ software enables individuals at all levels of an organization to easily access plant and process data through simple point-and-click dialogs.

Objective: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Retrieve Wonderware Historian data with ActiveFactory™ software
• Use the data in its appropriate context, including historical and real-time trend manipulation, and production-related reporting within Microsoft Excel and Word

Audience: Plant floor operators, managers, and other individuals whose jobs include using Wonderware Historian data for assessment and/or reporting within production or administrative environments.

Prerequisites: The prerequisites for this course are:

• Completion of Getting Started with ActiveFactory™ web tutorial www.wonderware.com/training/online_training/tutorials.asp
• InTouch® HMI Fundamentals of Application Development course
• Knowledge of Wonderware Historian (formerly known as IndustrialSQL Server™ Historian)
• Microsoft Windows
• Manufacturing industry experience
